COVID-19 presents many challenges to communities and businesses. Lack of PPE for healthcare workers became one, of many, problems facing America. Upon discovery of these inadequacies, makers, small and large, rallied to produce the critical supply: From 3D printer hobbyists to large-scale manufacturers; seamstress grandmothers and university students; Americans came together for the common good. This Independence Day, we'd like to pay tribute to this unity in our ingenuity.
Things are changing rapidly. Plastics, seen as an environmental nuisance; now, of collective respect for its role in public health and safety. Global supply chains, being deconstructed, as reshoring offers risk-reduction.
We are operating in a state of constant flux. That which remains, constant, however, is our country's ability to unify though the ingenuity of our fellow Americans, our communities, and our businesses. Together we will create, make, build and share the products and services that keep Americans safe and connected.
Wishing you and yours a safe 4th of July.
