MD&M Minneapolis begins Wednesday, October 16th, bringing togethers innovators from across the med tech supply chain to discuss the trends, challenges, and opportunities facing the medical sector. 

MN, Minneapolis—Oct. 16-17^th, 2024—Medical packaging thermoforming company Dordan Manufacturing to distribute technical medical packaging briefs at Medical Design and Manufacturing, part of the Advanced Manufacturing Conference and Expo. MD&M brings together medtech professionals across the supply chain, sharing the latest innovations and trends.

There are two standard formats for medical packaging, pouches and thermoformed trays. Thermoformed trays offer product protection and orientation, workflow organization (if a procedural kit), and ease and grace of opening. Pouches provide a sterile barrier, but do not provide the same structural protection to medical products, nor do they offer a controlled opening experience, when compared with thermoformed trays.

With the completion of its in house ISO Class 8 cleanroom, custom thermoformer Dordan Manufacturing is offering medical packaging solutions. Dordan has been designing and manufacturing custom thermoformed packaging since 1962. This addition of medical packaging to its product portfolio demonstrates how the family-owned thermoforming company continues to evolve to meet the changing demands of the plastic packaging market.

The Woodstock Independent is the community newspaper, which just published an article on Dordan's move into medical packaging.
